Insurance, Rates and Fees

In-Network Insurance

We accept most major commercial insurance plans including Aetna, Cigna, Highmark, Medicare, Medicaid, Tricare, UPMC and United Healthcare.

  • Please understand that our primary relationship is with you, not your insurance company. As a courtesy and convenience to you we will file claims for all our clients. To do this, we need current and accurate insurance information. If you plan on using insurance, it is important that you determine your insurance plan and benefits and communicate accurate information to us.

  • If your claims are rejected because we are not in-network, or because your benefits do not cover our services, please be aware that you will be responsible for paying our out-of-pocket/self-pay rate ($160 per 60 minutes).

Medical Assistance

When you have a Medical Assistance (MA) Plan like UPMC for You, the ‘mental health’ portion of your insurance changes depending on your county. We accept MA mental health insurance that is provided in Allegheny, Butler and Beaver County. Unfortunately, if you have MA and live in another county, we are unable to serve you at this time.

Private/Self-Pay

The out-of-pocket rate for those who do not use insurance is $160.00 for one (1) 60-minute session.

Cancellation and No-Show Policy

  • Clients who fail to show for their appointment will be charged a $110.00 no show fee. Three (3) consecutive no shows or a continued pattern of no shows may result in dismissal from the practice.

  • If an appointment is cancelled within 12 hours or less of notice, a $75.00 late cancellation fee will be charged. If an appointment is cancelled with greater than 12 hours of notice, no fee shall be charged.
