Megan McAllister
Life can feel overwhelming at times, whether you're a child struggling with big emotions, a teenager navigating life's challenges, or a young adult facing the pressures of relationships, school, work and major life transitions. My goal is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can feel understood, build resilience and develop practical tools for lasting growth.
I specialize in working with children, adolescents and young adults through age 30. Using a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care and Motivational Interviewing, I help clients better understand their thoughts, emotions and behaviors while building healthy coping skills and confidence. My approach is collaborative, compassionate and tailored to each individual's unique needs and goals.
My clinical experience includes working in partial hospitalization, outpatient therapy and school-based therapy settings. These diverse experiences have allowed me to support individuals and families facing a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges. Working across different levels of care has strengthened my ability to meet clients where they are and provide individualized support that reflects their unique circumstances and goals.
Seeking support is a meaningful step, and you do not have to navigate life's challenges alone. I look forward to partnering with you as you work toward healing, growth, and lasting change.
